This year, Nina Hale, Inc. (NHI) will be a Silver sponsor of the Ad2 Student Advertising Summit (SAS). The event is scheduled for Friday, February 7, at McNamara Alumni Center on the University of Minnesota campus. The SAS Summit is an annual event that attracts 200-300 attendees from across the Midwest including college students, recent graduates, those in job transition, freelancers, and professionals.
Senior Social Media Planner Barrett Goetz will represent NHI at this year’s Summit, speaking about social media and community management at one of four breakout sessions. As a Silver Sponsor, NHI is excited to be part this conversation with the local advertising community, and to meet some of the brightest young minds in the business. Agency President Donna Robinson and Account Supervisor Allison McMenimen will also be attending the Summit.
The day will be packed with two keynote speakers, four breakout sessions, networking roundtables, portfolio reviews, multiple agency tours, and an evening social hour. SAS is planned entirely by students and young professionals. The event puts students in contact with professionals who share insight about careers in advertising, marketing, PR, and communications-related fields. Last year, 28 colleges, 27 agencies, 91 professionals, and six states were represented at SAS.
Not only is SAS an amazing experience for attendees, but it also gives planning committee members a chance to shine. Committee leads mentor interns throughout program development and planning, providing a valuable learning experience for everyone involved.
