NHI Buzz Event Wrap-Up: Analytics and Measurement in 2014

In the first half of 2014, data-gathering capabilities for digital marketing increased rapidly: Universal Analytics has moved out of beta, and advances in Tag Management, Attribution Modeling, and Call Tracking have vastly improved our abilities to track and target customer behavior across media. On the rainy morning of Friday, July 25, a small crowd of friends, clients, and data geeks gathered at the Nina Hale, Inc. office to learn more about these big changes and potential solutions. Director of Analytics, Luke Schlegel, and Senior Data Scientist, Lizzy Wilkins, covered a wide range of topics, including:

  • Custom Attribution Modeling
  • Tag Management Solutions

We also unveiled our agency-wide Cost Import tool, which allows us to integrate paid media budgets with Google Analytics to provide more detailed recommendations for our clients. Hearing from our analytics experts made all of 2014’s new measurement possibilities seem within reach; we even heard about how data from smart devices could potentially be incorporated into analytics programs.
