Although 42% of online spending is budgeted for search engine marketing, search isn't always the right tactic for your company. Search is great for capturing demand, and when your customer searches for what you sell, you should be there. But sometimes you need to build your brand, or you have a product that is a "latent search" - meaning that they don't actually search for it except by your brand name.   • Pay-Per-Click Advertising (PPC): You pay the website or search engine each time someone clicks on your link or ad in sponsored results. We employ sophisticated methods including dayparting, geotargeting, dynamic text insertion, content network vs. search network, landing page optimization, and lots and lots of keyword research. We are a Google Qualified Company for their paid search Adwords program. Although Google is the most common search engine for PPC advertising, we usually launch Yahoo, MSN, and Facebook PPC advertising as well as Business.com for B2B.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): What sets us apart is that we don't silo SEO into only content, or just technical. At its most basic, good SEO is a three-legged stool of technical architecture, content optimization, and link-building. We employ expertise in all three areas in order to integrate true results for our clients.
  • Analytics: We love Google Analytics, and feel this is a great (and free) tool for marketers, but we also work with a number of analytics packages. We will set up a benchmark on all clients before a project begins. This includes setting up goals, funnels, current rankings and conversion rates from all channels. This becomes the base for results comparison, and also to optimize the programs to bring you revenue, not just clicks. We will set expectations for results before any project begins, and create reporting dashboards that convey results and next steps. We also consult just for Google Analytics if a company simply wants help setting it up and understanding it.
