After receiving a B.A. in American Cultural Studies from Brown University, Nina Hale worked in media planning and early digital throughout the 1990’s, while receiving an M.B.A. from the Carlson School of Management. Combining her love of popular culture with her interests in measurement and immediate feedback, she was on the forefront of SEO and paid media as early as 2000.
In 2005 Hale founded Nina Hale, Inc., growing the company from an independent consultancy to it’s current size of over 60 employees. Widely recognized as a leader in digital media, Hale transitioned the company to an ESOP in 2014. She remains heavily invested in maintaining a thriving company culture while keeping the business ahead of the digital trends. She is on the board of trustees at the Walker Art Center and is a frequent speaker locally and nationally on trends related to internet marketing and company culture.
