My husband Dylan Hicks–a music collector and critic–started this list of songs about searching

  3. “Needle in a Haystack” (The Velvelettes)
  4. “Searching for my Baby” (Bobby Moore and the Rhythm Aces)
  5. “Search for the New Land” (Lee Morgan)

  7. “Cortez the Killer” (Neil Young)
  8. “Whole Wide World” (Wreckless Eric)
  9. “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” (U2)
  10. “Steppin’ to the A.M.” (3rd Bass [featuring M.C. Serch])
     

I would also add:

  1. "where o where can my little dog be?"
  2. "how much is that doggie in the window" (since I’m on a dog theme)
  3. "fluffy where are you?" which is a strange song ala the Shaggs. I’ll have to turn to my Facebook community to find it.
